Aleta loves to experiment with media. A few years ago, she was applying fired resin surfaces to her paintings. Revisiting that technique for her show last August, she decided to incorporate it in her current body of work. These 5x5 inch panels ($300/each) look like tiles and are finished with fired resin. They are unframed and affixed to the wall with a velcro backing. Purchase all four for a dynamic look. Click on the image for a larger view. Barbara has had many requests for prints of her work, but she always wanted her paintings to be unique in the truest sense. Having done etchings years ago, she found it to be a perfect way to create a print that was never a painting, but it's own work of art.
